Looking forward to some tournament planning for this spring with Long Plain, MB. Youth1st has been working with this group over the past year and participants have come along way from never having picked up a stick, to understanding the history of lacrosse in Canada, the importance of the Medicine Game in indigenous culture, conquering the fundamentals, and taking part in exhibition games. Next step is to bring on the competition! We are currently discussing tournament dates

It’s been an amazing first few months for Youth1st Lacrosse which included presentations on the history of our game, making new friends and family in Portage La Prairie, Long Plain, Sandy Bay, Sioux Valley, Brokenhead, Camp Brereton, The Pas, Erickson, to name a few, a Fall Ball Best of 7 series which featured some of Winnipeg’s upcoming stars, and new partnerships with @WinnipegOutfitters, @SportsXpress, @DakotaOjibwayPoliceServices, @BirdtailInclusive.
