Having an absolute blast with these athletes from the Seven Oaks School Division - Elwick School. So much natural talent and each week we are seeing huge progress. Today's consecutive passing/catching record was 41 (up from 26 last week). Students are learning essential Physical Literacy skills while developing hand/eye coordination, learning the importance of dynamic warm ups prior to competing, and finding their individual confidence through the Creator's Game. Amazing first day for the Elwick Lacrosse Academy! Students learned about the rich history of lacrosse in Canada as well as indigenous culture, the 5 fundamental skills of lacrosse, and got their first game under the belt.
