

2019 Peguis Box Lacrosse - Inaugural Game at Peguis First Nation Arena
Thursday July 13, 2019 - Peguis First Nation held the first ever Box Lacrosse demonstration game in the Peguis Arena. Over the past few weeks, we have been working hard behind the scenes to get lines painted on the floors, shot clocks in place, equipment and box lacrosse goals ordered and delivered. Ecole Arthur Meighen School Portage la Prairie School Division
Over the past number of weeks, Youth1st Lacrosse has been working with Ecole Arthur Meighen School in Portage La Prairie. Tons of great athletes in this school and we are pleased to announce that they will be forming a team from the school to compete in this year's Canada Day Lax Bash at The Forks! A lesson for us all
This past weekend the lacrosse world erupted after National Lacrosse League star, Lyle Thompson was on the receiving end of derogatory comments made by an arena announcer at the professional level. In the game of lacrosse, the competitive spirit can run very high but there is absolutely no place for this in our game. Sandy Bay Lacrosse
This past week, Youth1st Lacrosse started up our workshops with Sandy Bay, Manitoba for the season. Great to see so many returning faces from last year and that the skills and passion for the game continue to grow. I am always impressed by the natural lacrosse talent in Sandy Bay. Lax Bash: Two Rivers Cup Trophy Presentation - Long Plain First Nation
